Brightside Academy is thrilled to announce our dynamic summer camps running from 16 June to 22 August 2025. Our camps cater to both school-age and preschool children, offering an enriching blend of hands-on activities and teacher-led projects. Summer Camp Registration Fee is $75 per child (ELRC covers the cost for subsidy-eligible families).  

Summer Camp Activity Fee is $40 for the first enrolled child and $20 for each additional child from the same household. Maximum out-of-pocket cost for Activity Fees is $100. This fee covers camp materials, a camp T-shirt, Field Trips, Special Guests, and Summer Camp Swag.

Summer camp Weekly Fees are covered by the ELRC for subsidy-eligible families. The ELRC will make eligibility and copay determinations. The Weekly Fee Schedule is available upon request for families who are ineligible for subsidized childcare.

*Note: The summer camp program fee must be paid by May 12, 2025 in order to secure registration.

Our Approach

Thematic Learning: S.T.E.A.M 

Our curriculum embraces a S.T.E.A.M approach, engaging children in science, technology, engineering, art, and math to foster inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking. This summer, we dive deep into all realms of art, exploring its multifaceted traditional and nontraditional forms. 

Daily Fun and Field Trips

Our campers enjoy days packed with self-directed learning, active play, rest, and plenty of activities. Campers can look forward to weekly field trips and in-house experiences that complement their learning experience. Past trips have included visits to local parks, movie theaters, science centers, and more, with the 2024 schedule promising new artistic adventures and musical guests.

Summer Camp Dates & Timing

Dates: 16 June - 22 August 

Theme: "Heroes in Training - The Path to Greatness Begins Here"

Summer camp will be in full swing from June to August, catering to students from PreK to age 12! Not all heroes wear capes—some join Brightside Academy this summer! Every hero has a beginning - this summer, it's yours! Get ready for a summer filled with excitement, exploration, and heroic adventures at all of our locations.

Dates: 16 June  - 22 August 

Age Group: PreK - Age 12

Camp Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm (Weekly)

Extended Care: Before and after-care available from 6:30 am - 6:00 pm

Meals: Nutritious meals provided for all students

Heroic Expressions

Every camper becomes a creative crusader! This summer, kids will unleash their powers through traditional and nontraditional art forms - from dynamic photography and cinematic videography to high-energy music, dance, fashion design, and more. It’s not just art—it’s a full-blown creative mission.

 

 

Cultural Superpowers

Our heroes-in-training will explore global art styles and traditions, learning how culture shapes creative expression. Whether it’s community murals, graffiti storytelling, or writing powerful poems and plays, every child will discover the superpower of their voice and vision.

Legendary Guests Mentors

Get ready to meet real-life creative superheroes! This summer, campers will be inspired by visiting artists, local musicians, and DJs who bring the beat—and the heat! These special guests will guide our heroes through epic workshops designed to unlock imagination and originality.

Adventure Missions (a.k.a. Field Trips)

Every hero needs a quest! From mind-blowing in-house experiences to carefully curated off-site adventures, our campers will embark on journeys that ignite curiosity and spark creativity. Each mission is packed with hands-on fun, discovery, and unforgettable memories.
